Fill your freezer for the winter with nutrient dense pastured pork. Avoid the meat section at the grocery store and feed your family a variety of delicious meals all winter long.

Customize your cuts and to have them tailored to what you like the best. Want to choose how much ground you would like, or the size of your roasts, this is the best option for you.  This price also includes up to 20lbs of sausage making and 8-10 lbs of smoked bacon at no extra charge.

Buying by the side or whole, means you pay based on the Dressed Weight (hanging weight before cutting up). Our pigs average approximately 100lbs Dressed Weight for a side which will give you 65- 80 lbs of meat to put in your freezer. This takes 2 to 3 cubic feet of space which will fit in most freezers that are combined with a fridge.

  • Our family has been enjoying the high quality meats and produce grown by the Bunnett Family Farm for almost a decade. Our entire family experienced an increase in wellbeing from choosing to eat Bunnett meats. We all love the flavour of naturally grown meats, but the most significant benefit was in our children. Our children react adversely to food additives, and when eating these grass fed and pastured meats, we quickly noticed a significant improvement in their digestion as well as a decrease in unwanted behaviours. - R&A Landry

  • We were very excited when we moved back to the Maritimes from Quebec that we were able to get our meat from Dave and Sandra. I love “knowing my farmer” and the care and knowledge that the Bunnett family put into raising their animals, their meat is healthier, and because it is much more nutrient dense a little goes a long way. We find your prices reasonable and the quality consistent and flavourful. - J Bartlett

  • I feel really good about getting my meat from Bunnett Green Meadows!  I love the way they raise their animals.  I believe I am getting clean meat from happy animals.  I see the respect and care that Sandra and Dave put into their work and to me, they are one of the few who are doing it right.  I love the fact that I can ask Sandra how to cook a piece of meat I’m not familiar with and I love getting lard to cook with!  I’m thrilled to have them as my main meat supplier and will continue to support them as long as they are around. - N Khosla

FAQ's

Are your meats fresh or frozen?

Our meat will come to you frozen. Unlike many frozen meats, that may have sat on the shelf and then frozen later as a last resort, all our meats are freshly frozen immediately at our local butcher.

How is the meat packaged?

The meat is vacuum packed to maintain it's freshness.

How much freezer space do I need?

A general rule of thumb is that you need 1 cubic foot of freezer space for every 20-25 lbs of meat.
